Information about how to get involved in our campaign and show your objection to the proposed plans for Bengeo Quarry and the appeal.
Registering Your Objections
Please see below for the details for the two objection letters.
The New Application
Comments and objections should be sent to to Herts County Council by 2nd November 2017 to:
Post: Ms Felicity Hart, HCC Planning Officer, Spatial Planning & Economy Unit C, Hertford SG13 8DN
Comments and objections should be sent to The Planning Inspectorate by 7th November 2017 to:
Post (3 copies if possible but one is acceptable): Ms Holly Dutton, The Planning Inspectorate, Room 30, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Bristol BS1 6PN
Everyone can comment – whether you objected previously to the initial application or not. If you miss the deadline, it is still worth submitting your letter while the HCC report is being prepared but no later than 2nd November 2017. Non-residents of Hertford can also comment on the proposal but it would help if they explain the connection to Hertford.
The developer is counting on residents being “battle weary” and any signs of weakness on our part will be used against us. This is why now, more than ever, it is important that we stick together and fight these proposals.
