Bengeo Quarry Continues to Threaten Hertford’s Landscape and Water

Supporters of the Stop Bengeo Quarry campaign (SBQ) came together for a Summer Walk across Bengeo Field, as the fight to preserve the local landscape continues.  On Sunday 10th September Stop Bengeo Quarry hosted the event, which consisted of a walk to the Woodman pub in Chapmore End, where a day of live music and a barbecue took place for the community event.  More than 120 people attended during the day, to back the fight to Stop Bengeo Quarry, which is getting ready for its next round of campaigning to gain further support. Why Fundraising

Stop Bengeo Quarry campaign has so far been run at next to no cost, thanks to the generosity and commitment of all involved. Even most printing was done for free. To ensure adequate funding for a professional planning consultant to represent our communities and to provide the finance to pay for very specific investigations and research, we need your financial support. Any donation, large or small, will be most gratefully received. At the moment we are asking for your support through fundraising events. If you have any experience in fundraising, or have any ideas which can help the campaign, please contact us via our website. Thank you for your fantastic support to stop the Bengeo quarry....
